Setting the benchmark for sustainable aluminium manufacturing in Sri Lanka and worldwide, Alumex PLC launched a comprehensive Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) roadmap titled \u2018Elevate\u2019 on 3rd December 2024 at the Hayleys Head Office. Adopting a formal ESG framework underscores Alumex\u2019s vision of creating long-term value for stakeholders and contributing to a sustainable future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commenting on the significant occasion, Managing Director of Alumex PLC, Pramuk Dediwela said, \u201cESG factors are crucial in the construction industry, across the value chain, within our manufacturing footprint and in the eyes of our discerning clients around the world. Furthermore, Alumex also prioritizes biodiversity preservation and engages in habitat restoration, along with setting a 30% reduction target in water consumption intensity, reflecting a commitment to preserving water resources and minimizing environmental impact. Transparency and ethical practices are fundamental to Alumex\u2019s operations, with a commitment to open communication and stakeholder accountability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
