The Event Management Association of Sri Lanka (EMA) represented the nation at EEMAGINE 2026, one of India\u2019s leading annual conventions for the event and entertainment industry, marking another significant step in strengthening Sri Lanka\u2019s presence within the regional events community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sri Lankan delegation comprised of Mr. Saliya Weerasekera, President, EMA, Mr. Roshan Wijeyaratne, the Inaugural President and Advisory Council Member, and Ms. Suranga Fernando.  Their participation provided an opportunity to engage with leading professionals from across the regional event management and entertainment industry, while gaining insights into emerging trends, sharing experiences and strengthening professional networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A key highlight of the convention was the special invitation extended to Mr. Saliya Weerasekera to take the stage and present awards during the event. The recognition provided a significant moment for Sri Lanka\u2019s event management industry, placing its leadership alongside prominent figures from the regional events community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Saliya Weerasekera, President of EMA, said, \u201cIt was a great honour to be invited on stage to present awards at EEMAGINE 2026. For me, and for EMA, this represents more than a personal recognition; it is an acknowledgement of the contribution and capabilities of Sri Lanka\u2019s event professionals. We are grateful to the organisers of EEMAGINE for this opportunity and for welcoming the Sri Lankan delegation.
