DFCC Bank has won two country awards at the 4th ICC Emerging Asia Banking Conclave & Awards 2026, receiving Best Performance on Growth \u2013 Sri Lanka and Best Performance on Profitability \u2013 Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the regional awards recognise the performance of financial institutions across emerging Asian markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The awards were presented to Anton Arumugam, Senior Vice President \u2013 Offshore Banking, Remittances and Business Development at DFCC Bank, by K.G.P. Sirikumara, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, at a ceremony held in New Delhi, India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The two awards recognise DFCC Bank\u2019s ability to expand its business while improving financial returns. This reflects a disciplined approach to growth, with the Bank strengthening customer relationships, managing its balance sheet carefully and investing in the capabilities needed to support future performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
DFCC Bank Director and Chief Executive Officer Thimal Perera said; \u201cGrowth matters when it strengthens the business and creates the capacity to serve customers better. Profitability matters because it allows us to continue investing in our people, technology and customer experience. Being recognised in both areas is therefore significant.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
