People’s Bank has secured four accolades at the 4th Commonwealth Business Excellence Awards 2026, earning international recognition for its excellence across banking, digital innovation, youth and student banking, and SME services.
The Bank was recognised with four awards: Best Banking Brand of the Year, Best Bank for Youth and Students, Best Bank in Digital Banking, and Best Bank in SME Banking.
The four accolades reflect People’s Bank’s continued focus on strengthening its brand, accelerating digital transformation, supporting the financial aspirations of younger generations and empowering entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
People’s Bank Chairman Chandana Guniyangoda said; “People’s Bank has always remained committed to supporting Sri Lanka’s national economy and development by providing accessible, inclusive and innovative financial solutions to individuals, businesses and communities. These four international accolades are a strong recognition of that commitment and the dedicated efforts of our employees in delivering value to our customers and the nation.”
