Delmege Building Products Expands Portfolio with New Air Conditioners, Switches and Sockets                     

8 October 2026 marked another significant milestone in the journey of Delmege Building Products, (a pivotal cluster of Delmege & Forsyth Co. Ltd.)  as it officially launched its newest product, Delmege Air Conditioners, together with a new range of switches and sockets, at a ceremony held at The Kingsbury Colombo.

The launch marks a further step in the expansion of Delmege Building Products and reinforces its ambition to build a comprehensive portfolio of quality products and solutions, strengthening its proposition as a trusted one-stop destination for the evolving needs of its customers.

Commenting on the launch, Ms. Dinusha Bhaskaran, Managing Director of Vallibel One, said:

At the centre of the latest portfolio expansion is Delmege Air Conditioners, designed to deliver powerful, efficient, durable and reliable cooling for residential and commercial applications. Available in 12,000, 18,000 and 24,000 BTU capacities, the range combines advanced technology with inverter operation to deliver consistent comfort while supporting efficient energy consumption.

Designed for demanding climatic conditions, the air conditioners feature Extreme Climate Cooling capability for temperatures of up to 55°C, together with a 30-second rapid cooling function. The I FEEL intelligent temperature-sensing technology provides greater comfort by detecting the temperature around the remote control, while Vector Precision Air Supply optimises airflow for more effective cooling.

The range also incorporates Gold Fin Technology for enhanced durability and corrosion protection, while inverter technology, supported by intelligent Fuzzy Logic, adjusts operation according to cooling requirements, contributing to energy efficiency and reduced power consumption. Additional features include ECO Mode, Child Safety Lock, Auto Restart and GEN Mode for stable operation during periods of limited power availability.

Delmege Air Conditioners are supported by a customer-focused service proposition, which includes up to 3 meterfree installation together with three complimentary services during the first year, and a 5-year warrantee for the inverter compressor, providing customers with added assurance and peace of mind.

Complementing the air conditioning range is a new portfolio of Delmege Switches and Sockets, combining functionality, safety, durability and contemporary design. Available in White, Gold and Black, the range features a premium Polycarbonate “Baby Skin” finish, glass-top switches and frameless sockets designed to complement modern interiors. The range is SLSI Approved for both switches and sockets, while its 13A Double-Pole Sockets with advanced protection provide an added level of safety for residential and commercial applications.
